Hello there !

My Little Art Studio in Palm Beach, on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches, [opens 3rd October] is a welcoming space for art lovers and creatives alike. We proudly showcase original works by talented Australian artists, alongside a thoughtfully curated collection of fine art prints.

Our vision is simple: to make art accessible, whether you’re investing in an original piece, discovering an affordable print you love, or simply enjoying the inspiration of being surrounded by creativity.

Beyond the gallery, we host small-scale workshops, events and art classes in Palm Beach and larger creative sessions in Avalon, inviting all skill levels to create, learn, and connect in a truly inspiring space.

At the heart of My Little Art Studio is community. Whether you’re visiting the gallery, joining a workshop, or simply connecting over creativity, you’ll find a space that celebrates art in all its forms and welcomes everyone to share in its magic.

Our studio is also a place for hands-on experiences. We host workshops designed to spark creativity and encourage self-expression, no matter your level of experience. From beginners picking up a brush for the first time to seasoned artists exploring new styles, our sessions are all about play, learning, and connection.

Meet the owner

Hi, I’m Laura, a Northern Beaches local and mum of two. After more than 15 years in marketing, I decided to follow my passion for creativity and community by creating My Little Art Studio. Here, I bring together my love of art and people, selling original works and curated prints by Australian artists while also hosting art workshops that make creativity accessible, calming, and fun.

With a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design Technology from the University of the Arts London, creativity has always been at the heart of my life. From fashion and design to painting, ceramics, and crafts, the studio is a natural extension of my journey and a space where others can discover the joy of making and connecting through art.

I bring my energy, warmth, and creativity into every session, and my greatest joy is seeing people of all ages light up when they create something they're proud of.

I’d love your feedback and to hear from anyone curious about what we do.

Meet Sylvia

Sylvia Harvey-Walker is an artist and illustrator with a lifelong passion for creativity. Growing up in a family of designers and makers, she was encouraged to explore new ideas and studied Graphic Design at Billy Blue College of Design.

After a varied career in fashion, footwear, and launching her own organic baby clothing brand, Sylvia discovered her true love of painting and illustration when asked to illustrate two children’s books, When Mum Went to Heaven and Charlotte’s Shoes.

She went on to establish Harvey-Walker Studios, creating modern artworks that bring warmth, texture, and meaning into the home. Sylvia believes art should welcome you at the door, tell a story about the people who live there, and create a space that feels both calming and inspiring. Her work is deeply personal, designed to reflect identity and evoke connection.

Kind Words

"What a lovely evening my daughter and I had learning to blend colours and create a masterpiece (well we tried). Laura was delightful and the evening was so much fun!"
